Did you know?

We keep saying that technology has, and continues to, change our lives. However, I have a feeling we adapt too quickly and too easily to new things and sometimes forget to stop and really look at what's happened. A work colleague sent this video recently and it really got me thinking of how fast our lives have changed in the last few decades. I remember using a Timex Sinclair when I was a kid and thinking it was the coolest thing in the world, now I can't live without my iPhone.

The video is based on the "Shift Happens" video from Karl Fisch and Scott McLeod of 2007. They've created a Shift Happens wiki to continue the conversation.

My favourite quote: "The top 10 in-demand jobs in 2010... did not exist in 2004". It's really amazing to think that Google didn't exist 10 years ago. I can't even imagine life without Google.
