iPhone App review: ShakeItPhoto
Today there are way too many photography apps for the iPhone that it's difficult for any one to stand out in particular. Many are really good at what they do, while most of them are just plain bad. I have downloaded (and paid for) a lot of them and use a few regularly. But there is one app that I just love, and that is ShakeItPhoto. It's a simple app that does only one thing, but it does it very well. I'd say it does it better than any other app out there.
What it does is allow you to take a photo (or choose one from your library in the updated version) and develops it Polaroid-style. The name of the app comes from the fact that you can shake the iPhone to "develop" the photograph faster. Yes, it's a gimmick. But it's kind of cool anyway.
There are no options in this app, you just shoot and shake, which makes it even better in my opinion. Many apps are crammed with options that don't add much value and you end up spending way too much time fiddling with them. With ShakeItPhoto you just shoot and shake and most of the time you'll be amazed with the results. The app is $0.99 and worth every penny.
