Model: Jessica from Australia

I finally figured out how to get the slideshow in the homepage working again. I have to admit I spent way too much time on it and it would've been easier to just call somebody who knew what they were doing. All this messing with code is just not my thing, although I do feel a sense of satisfaction that I did it myself.

With the redesign of the website I've been really bad at updating the content, so it's been a bit slow lately. Also, I decided to post the images much larger than I'd been doing in the past. I was a bit paranoid about putting such large images on the web (and I still am), but I figured there's no point in putting small images out there just because of a few dodgy people might want to steal them. I want to show my photographs, so I guess I'll just take the risk. I've been thinking of going back to previous posts and updating the photographs to the new size, but that'll take me a while. Maybe I'll get to it. Maybe not.

Anyway, about this photograph. This is Jessica and I'm pretty sure I posted this one before, but as with the previous one, I like it and it deserves another post. Jessica was born in Australia to an Australian father and a Thai mother, and she got the best of both cultures. I find the combination of cultures really interesting and I think I'll explore it further with my photography. Hey, I'm part Mexican, part American, part Italian, so I know a bit about being mixed race!
